Samar – Metallic Forest Wallpaper – Green

Samar is a fine single-line engraving of leopards and monkeys set against the weathered stone ruins of an old civilisation, printed in a metallic ink that catches the light.

The scene runs a leopard and cub resting on a rock beside a stream, half a dozen monkeys through the tree canopy and on the ground, a multi-arched stone bridge with a domed lookout anchoring the background, a smaller wooden footbridge, a bird in flight overhead and potted plants at the ruin's base — repeated continuously in the dense style of a classic toile.

On Green, the same metallic ink runs warmer and more bronze-toned against a deep olive-green background — a softer contrast than Navy, and the only other Samar colourway with a genuine metallic finish.

Samar is a non-woven, paste-the-wall wallpaper, and should be a straightforward hang for a confident DIYer, or a quick job for a decorator. The offset match shifts each drop up half a pattern repeat rather than lining up square, so allow a little extra paper for matching at doors, windows and corners.
