Pinecrest is a painted parkland rather than a wild wood. Ornamental acers, tall cypresses, conifers and blossom trees are stacked in receding layers around a still lake, with a path winding between them. A stag stands at the lower edge and deer graze at the water; birds cross the open sky at the centre. The brushwork is left visible throughout, so it reads as a painting hung across the wall rather than as a printed repeat.

Rust Green is the warmest of the three — the foliage turns toward copper and ochre, so the scene reads as autumn rather than high summer.

Pinecrest is an offset match with a 64cm pattern repeat, printed on a non-woven substrate: you paste the wall rather than the paper, which makes it quicker to hang and strippable when you remove it. Also available in Mulberry Green and Teal/Green.
